Renovation & Extension, Elwood
Our clients loved their 1900s home in Elwood but it was becoming too small for their family and the kitchen was outdated. They engaged us from the outset, we introduced them to one of our partner designers and we all worked as a team to develop a design that suits them perfectly and stayed within their build budget.
The 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom terrace cottage has been transformed into a modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom family home. The rear of the house was extended to accommodate a beautiful new kitchen with a tile backed island bench, stone bench tops, all new high end appliances and a wine fridge; and a dining and living area that flows seamlessly onto a new rear deck via sliding doors. A new main bedroom, walk-in robe and ensuite were added via a first floor extension. No more sharing one family bathroom!
The design and finishes are not only beautiful, warm and welcoming, the home is also very functional. It provides a lovely homely space for the family to spend together downstairs (inside and out), whilst also giving parents and children separate areas in the home to enjoy apart.
