Renovation & Extension, Brighton East
Our client for this beautiful renovation & extension in Brighton East contacted us from the United States. He had purchased the house many years before but, shortly after, his work had taken him overseas. His love of the house kept him from selling it and he was now ready to return, but after many years of tenants, it was tired and in need of a major renovation & refresh.
The original floor plan was modified to provide a spacious and comfortable master bedroom with WIR and ensuite. A small rear extension was added to open up the kitchen & living area and create an easy inside / outside flow out to the new deck and garden. The interior was fully renovated, with a fabulous new kitchen with stone benchtops, tiled splashbacks, breakfast bar, pantry and a full suite of new top of the line appliances. The high quality finishes flowed through to the two new bathrooms and European laundry, and new insulation and double glazed windows and sliding doors were installed vastly improving the energy efficiency and comfort of the home. The new timber flooring was matched to integrate seamlessly with the existing, and the house was painted and rendered to give a fresh modern look.
The renovation & extension transformed this house into a beautiful light, spacious and modern home perfectly suited to our client’s lifestyle and providing lovely comfortable spaces to enjoy all year ‘round.
